The Policy Roundtable Series brings together academics and senior policymakers to collaborate on key public policy questions. Participants co-examine themes of shared relevance on governance and policy reform. Each theme is selected for its relevance to ongoing governance debates in Africa. Though open discussion sessions, participants explore emerging policy challenges in the selected theme and exchange candid reflections.
A carefully selected group of 3 – 5 leading academic specialists and 10 – 12 senior policymakers participate in each roundtable series. Rather than operating as a public forum, the series functions as a focused working space. The design of the series recognises that the most effective policy solutions often emerge when theoretical knowledge and lived policymaking experience meet in constructive dialogue.
